2. Total grant per course (sum of course fee subsidy and training allowance) will be capped at the course fee amount before GST.

3. Skillsfuture funding can be used to cover the portion of the course fee not funded by T-Assist and Freelancer allowance

For Example

A  course costs S$2 000 before GST. The course runs from  9.30 am to 5.30 pm for 3 days and there is a 1-hour lunch break daily.

GST amount on the course is 7% X  S$2000 which is S$ 140

Course duration is 21 teaching hours (3 days times 8 hours less 1-hour lunch daily)

If the participant is a media freelancer who qualifies for 90% course fee subsidy and S$7.50 per hour training allowance

1 . They would pay S$ 2140 to AV8 Media before the course

2. After successfully submitting T-Assist Application

90% of course fee before GST is 90 % x S$ 2000 ,which is S$ 1800

Training allowance is S$7.50 x 21 hours which is S$157.50

So T-Assist and Training Allowance  total to S$ 1957.50

If he wishes to ,he can use Skillsfuture to cover the remaining S$ 42.50
